blogdev is a website that helps people find dentists, dental practices, specialties and locations. This policy explains what information the site handles when you use it, and the choices you have.
We aim to collect as little as possible. Browsing the site does not require an account, and the site does not currently use advertising or analytics tools.
Depending on how you use the site, the following may be involved:
Dentist profile pages show a map from Google Maps, so you can see where a practice is. When a map loads, your browser contacts Google, which may collect information such as your IP address and set cookies under its own privacy policy. We do not control this.
Some links, such as directions, take you to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
We use the information described above only to run the site: to show you relevant results, to keep the site working and secure, and, where you ask us to, to respond to a message or a listing request.
We do not sell your personal information.
Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the site. If we begin to receive messages or listing requests, we will keep them only for as long as needed to deal with your request.
You can use the site without giving us any personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies from third parties, such as the map provider, will not stop the site from working.
Please do not send medical or other sensitive health information through this site. blogdev is a website, not a healthcare provider, and cannot give medical advice. For care, contact a practice directly.
The site is meant for adults looking for dental care, including for their families. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the site changes, for example if we add accounts or contact forms. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
